The Bochu S9 Series is a highly specialized EtherCAT bus servo drive and motor combination. It is built to seamlessly pair with Bochu’s FSCUT laser controllers (like the FSCUT 4000E or FSCUT 8000) to deliver exceptionally high torque, rapid response times, and supreme stability during high-speed laser cutting operations.

- Developed entirely by Bochu, these servos integrate seamlessly with FSCUT controllers and CypCut/HypCut software. This allows operators to perform "one-click" auto-tuning, resonance suppression, and mechanical parameter adjustments directly from the computer screen, bypassing complex third-party tuning software.
- Utilizes a highly robust digital EtherCAT bus protocol. This ensures ultra-low latency and perfect micro-second synchronization between all machine axes (X1, X2, Y, Z), which is critical for smooth flying cuts and sharp cornering.
- Comes standard with a high-precision multi-turn absolute encoder. The motor remembers its exact physical position even after a complete factory power outage, meaning the operator does not need to perform a "return to zero" or homing sequence when restarting the machine.
- Designed to handle massive spikes in power demand. The motors can output 300% of their rated torque for short bursts, allowing the heavy machine gantry to achieve aggressive acceleration (up to 2.5G) and instant deceleration without triggering an overload alarm.
- The drive actively reads physical feedback from the machine. If a timing belt loosens, a rack-and-pinion gear wears down, or the gantry begins to vibrate, the servo detects this mechanical slippage and sends a real-time warning to the CNC controller before cutting quality is ruined.
- Uses a proprietary acceleration/deceleration curve that smooths out aggressive directional changes. This maximizes cutting speed while drastically reducing mechanical wear and tear on the machine's transmission parts.
- The servo drives are built with a slim profile and optimized heat sinks. This allows multiple drives to be mounted tightly side-by-side inside the electrical cabinet, saving significant space.
- Standard on Z-axis configurations and available for others, the dynamic brake instantly locks the motor shaft if power is suddenly lost. This prevents the heavy laser cutting head from dropping and crashing into the metal sheet.
- The servo motors are fully sealed against industrial metal dust, debris, and water splashes, ensuring reliable long-term operation in harsh metal fabrication environments.
